Mignano spoke on a panel of four lawyers entitled, "Leveraging Help From Outside Attorneys: An Overview of the Laws, Legal Ethics, and Practical Considerations Relating to Engaging Outside Attorneys" at The Bar Association of San Francisco. The panel discussed Rule 2-200 and financial arrangements with outside attorneys; Rule 1-400 and disclosure requirements concerning outside attorneys’ relationship with the firm; Rule 3-300 and conflicts of interest; models of structuring relationships with outside attorneys; and practical considerations regarding engaging outside attorneys.
