Courtney T Chew represents startups and small businesses. As an entrepreneur herself, Courtney understands the unique needs of small business owners and startup founders. She provides clients with counseling and transactional services, including entity formation, venture financing, corporate governance and compliance, employment, commercial and tech transactions, and privacy compliance.
Before joining SSM, Courtney worked for an international Silicon Valley law firm where she worked with startups and emerging technology companies and advised as to emerging companies/venture capital ("ECVC"), mergers and acquisitions ("M&A"), and public company matters. Courtney is a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Francisco. She enjoys exploring new parks with her French Bulldog, Sumo, and is on a mission to find the best boba shops in the Bay Area.
