Previously, Eric practiced in the Corporate Law Group at Cooley LLP in their Silicon Valley headquarters. His practice was focused in in emerging companies, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, and public capital markets law. While at Cooley, Eric advised Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) on their $400M acquisition of Shazam. He also advised Snap Inc (NYSE: SNAP) and Corsair Gaming Inc. (NASDAQ: CRSR) on their Initial Public Offerings that raised $3.4B and $238M, respectively. Eric earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where he was a Summer Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He also served as an Advanced Student Attorney for the Zell Entrepreneurship Clinic, the Legal Due Diligence Advisor for the student-led Social Venture Fund, and a Venture Capital Fellow for Mercury Fund and Invest Detroit Ventures..
