Mignano moderated a virtual panel for NowCFO called "How Pre-Seed and Seed Founders are Approaching Business During the Pandemic" featuring B2C/Enterprise SaaS company founders Oscar Adelman of Remi, Peggy O'Flaherty of Mavely, and Cory Woods of Zypp. Panelists discussed how pre-seed and seed founders are managing, pivoting, and developing their products and services during the pandemic.
Lindsey S. Mignano moderated a panel for The Mediation Society on September 23, 2020. The panel was entitled "Eliminating Bias in the Legal Industry: Actions to Recruit, Retain, and Advance Minorities and Intersectional Individuals in the Legal Profession" and featurerd panelists Lien Payne, Jay Hoon Lee of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and Ammar Saheli of San Francisco State University. Panelists discussed the historical myths regarding race, gender, etc. that bar true equity; how older lawyers can bridge the gap and have cross-cultural and cross-generational conversations with younger lawyers about race, gender, and intersectionality; how people in positions of power who are more senior in their careers can mentor younger, intersectional attorneys of color; and what measures law firms and the legal industry in general can take to encourage attorneys of color and intersectional attorneys to thrive in the industry.
