Shinjini Ray serves as outside general counsel to both early-stage startups and established companies across a range of industries. Her practice focuses on technology transactions, commercial contracts, privacy and data security, and general corporate matters. Shinjini delivers forward-thinking legal strategies to help businesses thrive in evolving legal landscapes. Her focus is on empowering clients to secure their intellectual property assets, manage risk, and enable long-term success.
Prior to joining SSM, Shinjini worked in BigLaw advising life sciences and biotechnology clients in all stages of their life cycle on technology transactions matters. She also conducted intellectual property diligence on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) matters. Outside of work, Shinjini is enjoying life in the Bay Area by going on walks through the city’s parks, baking, and watching Formula 1 races. Shinjini is also a proud Austin native and Longhorn.
