Nichola Xani advises early-stage and high-growth companies throughout all stages of their lifecycle, including incorporation, expansion, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, including general corporate governance, securities and equity issues, and venture financings.
Nichola works closely with founders and business teams on day-to-day legal needs, supporting commercial execution through the negotiation of core commercial and technology agreements and providing practical, business-focused legal guidance. Prior to joining SSM, Nichola worked in the corporate group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the San Francisco and London offices. She advised high-growth technology companies and venture capital investors on domestic and cross-border transactions and has experience on both the company and investor side of venture transactions. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, taking bachata lessons and auditioning for televised singing shows. EDUCATION
